Two weeks after my inrim report i asked if i could go to prom again. She said yes! So now im rushing to get everything done. Prom is on friday and i have lots to do before than.
Yestarday I got my hair done; permed, washed, cut and curled. I tried something new and I really like it. It makes me look a little bit older. I got my eyebrows arched for the first time. They look pretty cool. All I have to do is get my dress and shoes.
I know. I know. Prom is this friday and i havent got my dress yet. I do admit I'm a procrastinator, but this time it's not my fault. I dont have a clue where to get a dress from. And me and my grandmother have been fighting all weekend over it. Here's what it mostly sounded like.
G/m "Do you want a gown or a nice dress?"
Me "I dont know."
G/m "What do you mean you dont know? If you dont know, than whos supposed to know."
Me "Me, I guess."
G/m "You Guess? You're going to prom and you dont even know what kind of dress you want?"
Me "Gown."
G/m "You dont seem very excited about this."
Me "Well I am."
G/m "Some way to show it."
It went on like that for hours. Then she started talking about how she wanted to help me and be a part of the whole prom process. But then again the other day she told me to tell my mother to handle everything. The dress, the shoes, meeting my dates parents.
*This god damn prom better be worth all the hell I'm going through.
