Chivalry is certainly dead, for the most part. But there's no reason to believe that it can not be resurected. If you dont know what chivalry means here's the deffinition.
The qualities idealized by knighthood, such as bravery, courtesy, honor, and gallantry toward women.
Basicly it's being a gentleman towards women. And i rarely see it anymore. I dont think i've really ever have seen it. All I'm saying is if you see a lady, hold the door open for her. Show some damn manners to a dame. It would be nice for a lady to get a little respect a around for once in a while. TO Be treated as if a fragile flower.

i totally agree with you, I very rarely saw it when I was in high school, my husband has NONE of it. But to heck my BOYS will have it. I think that is the problem. I think parents (mothers for the most part) are trying to hard to be perfect to have hobbies and work and put their kids in every lesson available. I on the otherhand believe that mothers and fathers need to teach their children these manners and these traits...However, I see little hope in the world when it comes to chivalry...
